New International Version (NIV)
The NIV has become the best-selling English version of the Bible since the King James Version. The NIV follows the principle of "dynamic equivalence" to ensure crystal clear understandable English. The NIV is the most readable English Bible ever produced. |

Today's New International Version (TNIV)
The TNIV is the next generation of the hugely popular New International Version Bible introduced in 1978. The TNIV is marketed as "the new translation for today’s generation." According to Zondervan, "It combines uncompromising reliability, the clarity of today’s language, and the heritage of the most trusted translation, the NIV."
The TNIV is the masterwork of an interdenominational team of world-renowned translators and language experts, including several members from the original NIV team. The TNIV incorporates not only changes in the English language that have occurred during the past thirty years since the NIV was launched, but also reflects significant advances in Biblical scholarship made during that time. Remaining unswervingly faithful to the original Greek, Hebrew and Aramaic texts, the TNIV speaks God’s words to today’s world. |

New International Reader's Version (NIrV)
The New International Reader’s Version (NIrV) was developed to help early readers understand the Bible. Begun in 1992, the NIrV is a simplification of the New International Version (NIV). The NIrV uses shorter words and sentences so that those with a typical fourth grade reading level can comprehend what they are reading. The chapters have been separated into shorter sections and most have titles that clearly indicate what the section is all about. The NIrV will be a valuable translation to those for whom English is a second language. The NIrV still relies on the best and oldest copies of the Hebrew and Greek manuscripts for its translation, guaranteeing that those who read it are getting the actual Word of God. |

Benefits of the Logos Bible Software Edition
As with all Bibles from Logos, the Bible Search feature lets you easily perform simple word or phrase searches or more complex proximity, data type, or field searches. If you choose the NIV, the TNIV, or the NIrV as the preferred Bible in your library, it will be used as the default in reports and features such as Passage Guide. You can also use it as your preferred version in a Bible reading plan, if you have the Personal Bible Study Tools Addin (available in most base packages).
Logos Bible Software also contains Automation Addins which let you instantly and effortlessly compare Bible versions. With the Parallel Bible Versions report, you can line up as many versions as you own for in-depth verse-by-verse comparison of the differences between them. This makes it a snap to pinpoint differences between your Bible translations.
As a further aid to comparison, the Compare Parallel Bible Versions Addin even highlights in color each word that differs between versions. This Addin is also available in Scholar’s Library and Scholar’s Silver. Other options such as the Bible Analysis Addin provide visual graphs to help you analyze the way different versions render a Bible verse or passage into English.
