Dictionary Lookup Addin

The Dictionary Lookup feature is used to look up words in a dictionary and copy definitions to a word processor. It is a free addin for Libronix DLS.

How it Works

While Libronix and a word processor are both open, simply click the icon in the system tray that looks like a small red book (see Fig 1).

The Dictionary Lookup window will open so you can enter a word to look up (see screenshots at right). Any dictionary in your library with an entry for that word will be found. Click Next >> to view the next dictionary; click Copy to copy the entry to the Windows clipboard.

A number of popular word processors are supported. Languages other than English are also supported. Results will depend on which dictionaries are in your library.

How to Get the Addin

Dictionary Lookup Addin is free and can be downloaded at any time. To install it, connect to the Internet, open Libronix and click Tools | Libronix Update. When Libronix Update opens, click the arrow next to Optional and select Dictionary Lookup Addin and Dictionary Lookup Addin Help. Click Update.
