Learn Logos Bible Software

What Is Logos Bible Software?

Logos is the most advanced tool on the planet for studying the Bible. It combines the benefits of an essential theological library with the original language study tools necessary for researching the meaning of the biblical texts. Even though we are thousands of years removed from the events and culture of Bible times, Logos Bible Software helps to overcome that barrier by providing instant access to the tools needed to properly interpret, apply, and communicate its meaning.

What Is the Purpose of This Curriculum?

The purpose of this curriculum is to expose you to the depth and breadth of Logos Bible Software. Regardless of your educational background, computer aptitude, and familiarity with the Bible, this curriculum will provide the foundational skill set that will help you use this amazing software more effectively. Logos Bible Software is designed to be easy, to save you time, and to help you grow in your knowledge of the Bible.

How Do I Use This Training Material?

The training material consists of 16 lessons. Each lesson provides an explanation of the purpose, application, and benefit of a particular feature of Logos. Second, most features will be demonstrated via a training video that will show how it can be accessed in the software as well as how it functions. You will really learn how to use the tool with these detailed training videos. Third, occasionally we will point you to articles about various tools and how to apply them in biblical studies. These articles should be read thoroughly. Fourth, there will be questions and/or tasks to complete after each video to reinforce what you have just viewed. Lastly, hints are provided at times in order to facilitate your learning. Each lesson will range from 1 to 3 hours of work per week. For best results, spread the workload evenly throughout the week.
