Summary
The Logos version 1.6 book data files will not transfer to either the Logos Library System (LLS) or Libronix Digital Library System (LDLS) formats. Books that were available in version 1.6 format are available in the LLS and LDLS formats.
For information regarding books that are available in the LLS/LDLS format, please contact our Sales Department at 1-800- 875-6467.
Logos Version 1.6’s DVI function (Edit, Insert Verses) will not work with 32-bit programs, and it may cause the program to freeze in newer operating systems. In this case the DVI must be disabled and it cannot be used. Follow the steps below to disable DVI.
Follow these instructions if you can get into the program itself:
- Close all other programs.
- Start Logos.
- From the Edit menu, click Preferences, then click the Dynamic Verse Insertion checkbox to unselect it and click OK.
Follow these instructions if you cannot get into the program
- Go to Start | Run, type logos.ini and hit enter.
- In that file change the setting DVI to DVI=0 (zero)
- Save the file and close it.
You can upgrade to our Libronix Digital Library System which includes a feature much like the DVI that will work with 32-bit programs. Information about upgrading is available from Customer Service at 1-800-875-6467.
