Bookmarks and Workspaces

Summary

Bookmarks

Bookmarks are saved as part of the workspace where you set the bookmark.  To save your bookmarks to use again in subsequent Logos sessions, you’ll need to save and then load the workspace. 

To save and use bookmarks, complete the following steps:

1. Set your bookmark.
2. From the File menu, click Save Workspace
3. When you restart Logos, select the File menu.
4. Select Load Workspace.
5. Select the workspace you saved.  If you did not previously name the workspace, the workspace normally is saved as Default.

Loading the saved workspace will restore the bookmark(s) you had set.

Workspace

The workspace is the area of the screen where you use your books.  When you have specific books open and arranged that you would like to use again when you start Logos, you can save the workspace.  From the File menu, click Save Workspace.  You can type a workspace name (for example, Romans Study) if you have other workspaces you want to use again. too.  If you want the workspace displayed when you start Logos, from the Edit menu, click Preferences.  Check Load Workspace on Startup.  That's it!  When you quit Logos and restart it, the workspace will be ready to use.
