Recover a Book Removed by the Librarian Tool by Rebuilding Filemap

Overview
You can recover removed books if you used the Tools menu Librarian... command Remove button to remove books from your Library Browser. Remove only removes the book title from your browser list; Remove does not delete the book files from your system or change the unlock status of the book. To recover the book title in your browser, delete the Filemap and then rebuild it.
Instructions
To recover book titles that you have removed from the Library Browser, follow these steps:

Verify where the Logos.map file is in your system, for example in the C:\LRSYSTEM directory or folder.
From Windows 95/98/NT:
Click Start and then Programs, then click Windows Explorer.
From the Tools menu, click Find... and then click Files or Folders....
In the Named text box, type LOGOS.MAP.
Select the C: drive (where C: is your hard drive letter name) if necessary and click Find Now.From Windows 3.1:
Click File and then Run....
In the Run: text box, type winfile and click OK.
Click File and then Search.
In the Search for: text box, type logos.map and click OK. -
When the map file is found, delete it.
From Windows 95/98/NT:
From the Find: dialog box Name column, select Logos.map .
From the File menu, click Delete and Yes.From Windows 3.1:
From the File menu, click Delete and Yes. -
Run Logos.
A Logos System Error message box will appear. -
Click Scan...
The Rebuild Filemap dialog box will appear. -
Select a drive and folder where your books are located and click Add. Repeat for each drive and folder where your books are located.

When all your book locations appear in the Search List, click Scan.
- When the Books Found dialog box appears, click OK.
Note: If additional modifications to your Filemap are necessary, from the Tools menu, click Rebuild Filemap....
If the book files are available in your system and the book's unlock still is preserved in your Logos system files, the book should now appear in your Library Browser. (If the book files are on a CD, make sure that you have loaded the correct CD in your CD-ROM drive.)
