Replace a Book in a Book Window
The information in this article applies to the following products:
- Logos Library System software version 2.0 and above
Overview
This article provides general instructions about replacing the book in an open book window on your workspace.
Instructions
You can easily replace a book in your workspace, for example if you prefer a different Bible or commentary in the open window. To replace a book using the drag-and-drop method, follow these steps:
- Press Ctrl+B to display the Library Browser.
- Click the title of the book or book item you want.
Note: If you click an expandable symbol, the browser category will expand.
- Point to your selection and click-and-hold the mouse button.
Your pointer will change from an arrow to a circle with a slash.
- While still holding the mouse button down, drag the item to the window of the book you want to replace and release the mouse button.
When you drag the pointer to an active workspace, it will change to an arrow with a book attached.
Note: You can create an additional window by dragging the item to an empty place on the main workspace and then releasing the mouse button.
Caution: If you replace the King James Version (KJV) in the primary Bible window of a Fast-Start workspace, internal links from the Bible to word study resources based on the Strong’s numbering system will not be as easily accessible because Strong’s numbering is based on the KJV and is available directly.
