Fix a Fast-Start Workspace Display Problem
The information in this article applies to the following products:
- Logos Library System software version 2.1e (with Add-on Feature that is now discontinued) and above
if Fast-Start Workspaces are installed
Summary
When Fast-Start Workspaces are installed, the feature provides several Logos-designed workspace options to help you set up your workspace for Bible study. Each of the workspace options is available in two versions that are based on standard screen display resolutions. One version supports 800 x 600 resolution and the other supports 1024 x 768 resolution.
Because the installation cannot detect your screen resolution, both versions are installed and you select the appropriate option when you load the workspace. If you load a version that your display monitor does not support, simply re-load a different version for the workspace option.
Symptoms
You may need to re-load a different workspace version for the option if:
- Your workspace appears to fill up only a small part of your monitor’s screen display. (You may need the 1024 x 768 version.)
- Only a fragment of the main window in your workspace appears. (You may need the 800 x 600 version.)
Probable Cause
The version of the workspace option you have loaded is incompatible with your monitor’s screen display resolution.
Resolution (or) Workaround
To load a workspace, follow these steps:
- From the File menu, click Load Workspace....
- Double-click the other workspace version for the option.
If you do not know your screen display resolution, start by loading an 800 x 600 version of the workspace. If the workspace does not fill your screen, try loading the 1024 x 768 version.
